The Class 3 Tek screw provides good corrosion resistance for inland areas. Use with a bonded washer for a waterproof installation. A dual thread screw ideal to secure roof sheeting to wood roof structures. The dual thread shank drills through IBR sheeting and at the point where it starts to drill through the wood structure below; the break in thread allows it to spin while drilling through the structure. |
The product requires a power tool and a nutsetter to complete installation. Hold the power drill at a 90 degree angle. Choose the correct length screw: the screw should be able to drill through the object and substrate and grip a sufficient amount through the substrate. Not suitable for use in coastal areas or to install galvanized zincalume roof sheeting (Chromadek). |
