Ideal to use when installing a piece of material to thin metal (thinner than 3mm).

Requires a power drill for installation. A pilot hole is not required when used for installation to a thin piece of metal. The thickness of the metal being drilled into must not exceed the length of the self-drilling point. If the screw point drifts as you try to drill, paste to pieces of masking tape (one horizontal and one vertical) this will create a service that can be gripped by the screw point. |
Can be used to drill metal to wood. The self-drilling point allows carpenters to cut back on the number of steps necessary to complete projects. |
